Event Policy
1. Eligibility and Details of Participation in Events
1) For detailed information regarding each event’s content, duration, and participation requirements, please refer to the event page on the official Star Savior website and official community.
2) Details of each event may be changed or suspended depending on the situation of Studiobside Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”). Additional information will be provided on the corresponding event page, and this will not be notified separately.
3) In the event of any discrepancy between this Event Policy and the information provided on an event page or winner announcement notice, the content of the event page or winner announcement notice shall take precedence.
4) The Company shall not be held responsible for any limitations on event participation caused by personal network instability or similar reasons, and no separate compensation will be provided.
5) Participation in each event may be restricted if the user does not meet the age requirements under the game content rating.
2. Eligibility Criteria for Event Winning
The winner announcement and prize distribution schedule may either be available immediately depending on the event or provided later through notices on the official website and community.
Only one account may participate in a single event. However, events that explicitly state duplicate wins are allowed may permit multiple entries.
Winners are selected through the following process:
- Extract data of participants who meet the conditions among those who have completed the event.
- Exclude participants who fall under the following criteria:
• Those who have violated the Terms of Use or Operation Policy or participated in the event through fraudulent means within the past 6 months
• Those who have won other events held by Star Savior within the past 3 months (may be excluded depending on the nature of the event)
• Internal staff or users associated with internal staff
- After exclusions, winners are selected randomly.
The winning probability and selection process are not disclosed.
Cases under the following conditions may also result in disqualification:
1) Participating in the event using another person’s or false account information
2) Participating in the event using fraudulent means (account/identity theft, bug exploitation, abusing systems, copying others' posts, etc.)
3) Winning the event and then withdrawing membership or having the account permanently suspended for violating the Terms of Use or Operation Policy
4) Having a history of access restriction due to Operation Policy violations within the last 6 months
5) Using an inappropriate or offensive nickname
6) Failing to provide delivery information within the deadline or not consenting to the collection of delivery information
7) Failing to provide personal information required for prize delivery and tax processing
8) Mismatch between the name of the actual prize recipient and the winner
9) Unable to reach the winner via provided contact info, or prizes returned due to absence or incorrect address
10) Failing to submit required documents or pay taxes when taxes apply to the prize
11) Not clearly expressing intent to accept the prize or explicitly refusing it
12) The delivery address provided is outside the service region of the event’s server
For content-sharing event entries, the following conditions result in disqualification:
1) Sharing post that contains identifiable text with inappropriate content
2) Participant is not an active user of the game
3) Sharing content that violates copyright or is confirmed to be copied from another user’s post
3. Provision of Prizes
All prizes may be changed to other products of equal value without prior notice.
The Company is not involved in any loss incurred from participating in the event or using the prizes, and any related disputes or claims will be handled according to relevant laws.
Prizes cannot be transferred to another person, and the winner cannot request another prize instead.
1) The winner’s delivery information will be collected to deliver the prizes, goods, or services and the winner’s consent must be obtained when receiving the package.
2) Provision of accurate delivery information (name, contact information, etc.) is required for a shipping process.
3) The prize will be sent to the very last shipping address the user submitted before the deadline.
4) Prizes, goods, or services will be delivered in bulk and in order after each winner is confirmed.
5) For prizes exceeding a certain amount, a separate notice will be provided regarding the required documents, such as a bank account for tax payment and a copy of a valid ID.
6) Winners must pay applicable taxes and submit the required documents (e.g., ID copy) in accordance with the instructions. Even if the Company covers the taxes, submission of necessary documents is still required.
7) Shipping of the prizes may be delayed by internal or external circumstances. In such cases, please contact the customer center for inquiries.
* What are Applicable Taxes and Public Charges?
- If the unit price of a prize exceeds KRW 50,000, 22% of the prize value (20% income tax and 2% resident tax) will be withheld and paid in accordance with the Income Tax Act and Local Tax Act.
- Detailed matters will be handled in accordance with the Income Tax Act, Local Tax Act, and other relevant laws and regulations.
The following applies to in-game currency and item rewards:
1) Rewards cannot be granted to accounts that do not exist or are scheduled for deletion at the time of reward distribution.
2) Rewards can only be claimed once per account. However, if multiple claims are allowed as stated on the event page, exceptions will be made accordingly.
3) Rewards may have claim or usage periods. Items that expire due to such limitations cannot be exchanged or restored.
4) Detailed information on each item can be found within the in-game item descriptions.
5) Rewards that have already been used or deleted properly cannot be recovered. Additionally, items may be adjusted if necessary for game balance or operational needs.
6) Unless otherwise stated on the event page, rewards will be distributed via in-game mail on the next scheduled maintenance day following the winner announcement.
7) Depending on the event, the in-game mail containing the reward may have a limited claim period. This period can be checked on the relevant event page or within the in-game mail.
4. Privacy
Personal information of winners may be collected for the purpose of distribution of reward. In such cases, collection will only occur with the consent of the individual.
Collected personal information such as name and contact number will be destroyed after the reward is delivered. However, if retention is required by relevant laws, this does not apply.
In cases where a user is selected as a winner, partial personal information such as nickname or email address may be disclosed on the official website or community notice.
All other matters regarding personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
5. Others
By claiming the right to participate in the event and receive prizes, you agree to all of the above rules and related matters.
You agree to delegate all rights related to the event to the Company.
The Company is not responsible for any injuries, property damage, prize loss, shipping issues, or damages resulting from the use of the prize, and any related disputes or claims will be handled in accordance with relevant laws.
By submitting screenshots or other derivative works based on the Company's copyrighted materials to participate in the event, you grant the Company the right to use them — either in original or modified form — without time or regional restrictions, for purposes such as service operation and promotion. However, if the work is to be leased or transferred for a fee, prior consent from the author must be obtained.
You agree that the Company shall not be held liable for any legal costs under any circumstances.
All disputes and claims related to the event or prizes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
